Camiro-CMS: 1st Beta Release

Camiro-CMS is a a lightweight, modular and minimalist CMS written on top of CakePHP.

Camiro-CMS is still under development and still not halfway through, but is already packed with basic features and ready to use.

It is written by a group of Open Source enthusiasts and hackers based in Aklan and Pasig, it started out as a hobby project and will always be.

The first beta release was taken out from the box today and is available for test run here: http://code.google.com/p/camiro-cms/

To install, simply uncompress the package unto your CakePHP directory (1.2 version is recommended) and load camiro.sql into your database. You may need to do further tweaks to your the app/config/database.php file to point/configure it to the proper schema.
